Ashwika began in a one-room workshop, founded by a young goldsmith who believed jewellery was a vow, not a transaction. Three generations later, we still hold that belief at the heart of our craft. Our workshop has grown, our tools have evolved, and our designs now blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

EIGHTY-FIVE YEARS, FOUR INFLECTIONS
How the bench has changed.
1940
The first floor.
Founded in a one-room workshop in Coimbatore. Two benches, four tools, hand-pulled gold wire.
1972
Second generation.
The founder’s son scales the floor to twenty benches and starts taking private-label orders for South Indian retailers.
2003
CAD comes home.
First wax-master CAD station installed. Production tolerances drop to 0.05mm. Repeat-order book opens.
Today
Beyond Precision.
Three buildings, BIS hallmarking on-site, IGI/GIA-certified stones, export to twelve countries. Same bench mindset.
THE BENCH
Where the work still happens. Forty-two artisans across three buildings — wax, casting, hand-finishing, stone-setting, hallmarking. Most have been with us for over a decade.
THE CAD ROOM
Eight workstations running the latest CAD/CAM software. Every piece we manufacture exists as a wax master and a digital file. Repeat orders ship in half the lead time.
